Creating a VEED account takes a minute and gives you access to our full suite of online video editing tools. This article walks through signing up, setting up your workspace, choosing a plan, and logging back in afterwards.
How to sign up for VEED
Go to the VEED website
Open your browser and visit veed.io.
Click Sign Up
You'll find the button in the top-right corner of the homepage.
Choose how you want to sign up
Pick Google, Apple, Microsoft, or a work email address. Each option is covered below.
Sign up with Google
Enter your email address or phone number in the window that appears.
Enter your Google password.
Complete two-step verification if your Google account uses it.
Sign up with Apple
Enter your email address or phone number in the window that appears.
Enter your Apple password.
Complete two-step verification.
If you're asked Trust this browser?, select Trust so you don't have to verify again next time.
Check your inbox for a 5-digit verification code and enter it to finish.
Sign up with Microsoft
Enter your email, phone number, or Skype ID.
If you're asked Stay signed in?, select Yes.
When asked to let the app access your info, select Accept.
Check your inbox for a 5-digit verification code and enter it to finish.
Sign up with a work email
Type your work email address into the field.
Check your inbox for a 5-digit verification code and enter it to finish.
No password is needed. You'll receive a fresh code each time you sign in this way.
Set up your account
Once you've verified, you'll be asked for a few details:
Your name
A name for your workspace. This is the space your projects live in. You can create more workspaces later if you need them.
Invite your team (optional)
If you'll be working with others, you can bring them in during setup:
Invite people directly by entering their email addresses. See how to add a collaborator for what each one can access.
If you signed up with a company domain, you can allow anyone with that same domain to join your workspace automatically.
You can also join an existing workspace on your domain, as long as its owner has that setting switched on.
Note: every person in a workspace counts as a paid seat once you're on a plan. See how collaborator charges are calculated.
Choose a plan
VEED offers several plans:
Free — core features with some limitations.
Creator — additional features, and removes the watermark from your exports.
Pro — advanced features for professional use.
Studio — best suited to small teams.
Enterprise — for organizations needing the full toolset and collaboration features. To discuss it, get in touch with our sales team.

How to log in to VEED
Go to veed.io and click Log In in the top-right corner.
Select the same method you signed up with — Google, Apple, Microsoft, or your work email.
Complete any verification step, and you'll be taken to your dashboard.
Use the same method every time. Signing in with Google when you originally signed up with a work email may create a separate account rather than opening your existing one, even if the address is identical.
Frequently asked questions
Is VEED free to use?
Yes. You can create an account and use the free plan for as long as you like, with some limitations on features and export quality. Upgrading is optional.
I didn't receive my verification code
Check your spam or junk folder first, since automated codes often land there. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, request a new one. Corporate mail filters sometimes block these, so a personal address may work if your work email keeps failing.
I logged in but my projects are missing
You're most likely in a different account from the one holding your projects. This usually happens when someone signs up with a work email and later logs in with Google using the same address. Log out and sign back in using your original method.
Can I change the email address on my account later?
Yes. See how to change your email address. Note that you can't switch to an address already tied to another VEED account.
Do I need a password?
Not if you sign up with Google, Apple, Microsoft, or a work email — those methods use your existing provider login or a one-time code sent to your inbox.
How do I log out?
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Log out. Full steps are in how to log out of your account.
