How to Add Text to a Video in VEED
Adding text to your video is a simple and effective way to enhance your content. Follow the steps below to add text to your video.

Steps to Add Text to Your Video
Access VEED
Go to VEED and log in, or create an account if you don’t have one.
Create a New Project
Click on Create Project.
Upload your video by dragging and dropping it into the Upload a file area, click on it to select a file from your device, or close the window to start with an empty project.
Add Text to Your Video
Navigate to the Text tab.
Choose from the available text templates.
Customize Your Text
Once you have added the text, it will allow you to modify it. You can also click on the text on the canvas to bring up the text settings.
Type in the text you want to add, modify the layout, color, background, and font size.
Set the timing for the text using the Start and End options.
Add animations, effects, and other styling options from the Edit Text tab or through the buttons under the selected text on the canvas.
Adjust text emphasis (bold or italic), letter spacing, and line height in the middle section of the Edit Text tab.
Resize the text by dragging the corner dots and move it by dragging it on the video canvas.
Adding and Editing Multiple Text Boxes
Click + Add Another Text Box at the bottom of the Edit Text tab to insert additional text.
To edit a different text box, select it on the Timeline or on the Canvas.
Finalize and Export Your Video
Once you’re happy with your text edits, click the Export button at the top right.
VEED will render your project and redirect you to the video page where you can download or share your video.

Q: Can I use texts to create subtitles?
If you wish to add subtitles, we suggest you use the Subtitles feature. This feature allows a better editing experience, control, and overview of subtitles.
Q: Can I add multiple texts to a project?
Yes, you can add as many texts as you want.
