In this short tutorial, you’ll learn how to move a project into a different space or folder within your account.
Step-by-Step: Move a Project
1. Locate Your Project
Go to your Dashboard.
Click on the View all button on the left-hand side window. This will show all your projects.
2. Select the projects
To move one project, hover over it, click on the 3 dots in the bottom right of the thumbnail for the project and select Move
In order to move multiple projects, tick the box at the top left of the project thumbnail to have it selected.
Select multiple projects in the same way as the first one.
Click on Move button in the bottom middle part of the page.
3. Choose a New Location
A new window will appear, prompting you to choose a Space and Folder.
Select the destination Space and/or Folder where you want the project to go.
Click the Move button at the bottom right to complete the action.
FAQs
Q: Can I move a project to another account or workspace?
No, projects can’t be moved between different VEED accounts or workspaces. To transfer a project, you’ll need to manually recreate it in the other account or workspace.
Q: I can’t see the folder I want to move the project to. What should I do?
Make sure you’re viewing the correct Account, Workspace, and Space. Then, expand all folders using the small ▼ arrow next to each name to display hidden subfolders.
