The AI Playground lets you generate video with the latest AI models through one simple interface. Write a prompt, pick a model, and create brand-new footage from scratch — no filming, no stock library.
Limitations
Available on all plans. Every generation uses AI Credits.
Credit cost varies by model, and is shown before you generate.
Free plan: AI credits are available in some regions but not others. If your region includes them, you can generate files up to 12 seconds long. If you don't see any AI credits on your free plan, it's because they aren't available where you are.
What is AI Playground?
AI Playground is a generation tool that gives you direct access to leading text-to-video and image-to-video models in one place. You choose the model, write the prompt, and get a completely new clip back.

From your dashboard, click Edit video in the left panel to open the editor, then click Create in the top panel and choose AI Playground

How to use the AI Playground
Open AI Playground. As mentioned above, there are two ways to get there:
Go straight to veed.io/ai-playground.
Or open it in the editor. From your dashboard, click Edit video in the left panel to open the editor, then click Create in the top panel and choose AI Playground.
Enter your prompt. Describe what you want to see, and adjust any settings the model offers, such as length, style, or resolution.
Select a model. Each one produces a different look and costs a different amount.
Check the credit cost. The exact cost for your request is shown before you commit to it.
Choose your aspect ratio.
Click Generate. Credits are deducted only when a generation succeeds — failed generations cost you nothing.
View and download your clip once it's finished, or carry on working with it in your project.

How AI Credits work
Credits are spent per generation, and the cost depends on the model you pick.
You always see the exact cost before generating.
On monthly plans, unused credits expire at the end of each month. On annual plans, they reset once a year.
Failed generations don't cost anything.
To check your balance, look at the top right of AI Playground, or open Plan Limits in your workspace settings.
FAQs
Q: How many videos can I generate?
As many as your credits allow. Each model shows its cost next to its name, so you can work out how far your balance will stretch.
Q: Do AI credits expire?
Yes. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of each month, and annual credits expire at the end of the year.
Q: What happens if a generation fails?
Nothing is deducted. You're only charged for generations that complete successfully.
Q: How do I check my credit balance?
Your remaining credits are shown at the top right of AI Playground. You can also find them under Plan Limits in your workspace settings.
Q: Is AI Playground the same as Gen-AI Studio?
No. AI Playground generates brand-new footage from scratch — ask for a dog running and a model creates that video for you. Gen-AI Studio assembles a video from your script using stock footage and AI avatars, rather than generating new visuals.
Q: Which model should I choose?
Each model has its own style, speed, and credit cost. If you're not sure, start with a cheaper one to test your prompt, then regenerate with a more expensive model once you're happy with the description.
