Some of you might have experienced the error message: We're sorry, your device isn't supported.

This error message is usually shown on devices that don't have Hardware acceleration enabled in their browser. Our site and editor use the latest technology, and Hardware acceleration is needed in order for our site to run smoothly.

Here is how to enable hardware acceleration on different browsers:

Chrome

  1. Click the three dots on the upper right-hand side of your browser. Select Settings.

  2. Expand the Advanced Settings menu and select System.

  3. The toggle is automatically on in most cases. You can turn hardware acceleration off and on here.

Edge

  1. In the upper right-hand corner of your browser, select Settings and more via the three-dot menu.

  2. Choose System and Performance.

  3. In most cases, the hardware acceleration will already be toggled on. You can turn the setting off and on here.

Firefox

  1. In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and choose Preferences.

  2. In most cases, hardware acceleration for Firefox will already be turned on, indicated by a check box that says Use recommended performance settings.

  3. By unchecking the box, hardware acceleration will reveal itself as another box to be ticked off or on. You can change your settings here.

If switching hardware acceleration on doesn't fix the issue, you should also make sure that your browser and operating system are up to date. You can follow these articles to update them:
