In this article, we will show you how to apply transitions to your videos.

Transitions can be applied to the start or end of a clip, or in case of multiple clips inside the project in between the clips. You will notice a slight decrease in the length of the clips if applied between two clips. This is due to the transition merging the end of the first clip into the start of the following clip.

Here is how to add transitions step by step:

Head over to <a href="https://www.veed.io/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">VEED</a>

Drag and drop the video to the Upload a file part of the window or click on it and you can select the file you want to upload

On the timeline, you will see two boxes with a white through on the video clip at either end or start of the clip. Click on any of those.

Select one of the 10 transition options to apply to that part of the clip. You can also drag and drop the transition from the list to the timeline to either end of the clips.

If you are finished editing, click on the Export button at the top right. The project will render and it will redirect you to the video page where you can download or share the video

2. Create an account or Log in
3. Click on Create Project
4. Drag and drop the video to the Upload a file part of the window or click on it and you can select the file you want to upload
5. Wait for the video to upload
6. Click on the Transitions tab
7. On the timeline, you will see two boxes with a white through on the video clip at either end or start of the clip. Click on any of those.
 
 
 
8. Select one of the 10 transition options to apply to that part of the clip. You can also drag and drop the transition from the list to the timeline to either end of the clips.
 
 
 
9. If you are finished editing, click on the Export button at the top right. The project will render and it will redirect you to the video page where you can download or share the video
