How to create and use Templates

Updated over a week ago

Templates let you save a project layout - logos, fonts, brand colours, captions, and timing - so you can reuse it in seconds. Perfect for series content, branded intros, or social-media variants.

Limitations

  • Available for: Enterprise plan only

Step-by-step: Save a project as a Template

  1. Open (or create) a project
Add branding, text styles, music, placeholders—anything you want to reuse.

  2. Click “•••” (More) in the top-left corner
    A dropdown menu appears.

  3. Choose “Save as Template”

Your layout is now stored in your Templates library and can be applied to any new or existing project.

Apply a Template to a new video

  1. From your Dashboard, click “Templates”
You’ll see every template you’ve saved.

  2. Hover and click “Use Template”
A blank project opens with all template elements pre-loaded.

  3. Edit the project
    Start editing your project.

All template elements snap into place—no manual resizing.

Manage & share Templates

  • Rename or delete: Dashboard ► Templates ► ••• menu.

  • Share with teammates: Add collaborators to your workspace; templates become instantly available to them.

Tips for better Templates

  • Use brand fonts & colour styles to keep every video on-brand.

  • Only add the things you will need in the project. Avoid adding media files that you will replace after every use.

  • Add placeholder text (“Drop headline here”) to speed up editing.

  • Create multiple aspect-ratio versions to speed up repurposing.
