Automatically Translate and Subtitle Videos

The translation feature is available to all the plans with limitations on each. Please check our pricing page for more details.

In this article, we will show you step-by-step how to subtitle your videos and translate them automatically.

  1. Head over to veed.io

  2. Create an account or Log in.

  3. Click on Create Project.

  4. Drag and drop the video to the "Upload a file" part of the window or click on it and you can select the file you want to upload.

  5. Wait for the video to upload.

  6. Select the language spoken on the video

  7. Toggle the Add translation option.

  8. Select the language you want to translate it then click on Auto-translate.

Done! Subtitles are automatically translated. You may click the language on top to switch.

  • This will automatically generate both subtitles and translated subtitles for your video.

  • You can click on the language on top to switch the language.

  • The translation is only for subtitles. It will not translate the voice or audio into another language.

If your video already has subtitles, click the language on top then click on Add translation:

Select the language you you want to translate the subtitles then click on Translate automatically:

As of the moment, the editor will only show one language track. If you have different clips with different language tracks, you need to choose only one same language track to show it on the timeline.
