Upload the script in an SRT file(Enterprise only)
You can use your own file to upload the scripts of a video either via the Upload button, or dropping in a file over the Upload Transcript area.
When you upload an SRT or another supported subtitle file(accepted: .srt, .vtt, .ssa, .ass), you have two options:
Proofread: This shows the exact text from your uploaded file on the page for review.
Translate: This uses the uploaded file’s text (with timings) to generate dubbing — meaning the voice will say what’s in the file, not what’s actually said in the video.
Essentially, your uploaded file replaces the original video script for dubbing purposes.
If you don’t upload a file, the system uses the original audio from the video for both Proofread and Translate.
