Step-by-step: Rephrase your voice with AI
Open your project in Edit with Script
Go to veed.io, open a project, and select Edit with Script.Select the part you want to rephrase
Highlight the words you want to change in the transcript. A toolbar will appear.Click the “Rephrase” button
Clicking the Rephrase button will start the process.
Edit the text
Change the highlighted script to what you want the speaker to say.Click “Generate”
Wait until the toast says “Rephrase completed!”See the result
The original text is shown as deleted. The new audio and subtitles will appear in your timeline.
Things to keep in mind
You must select at least 1 word and no more than 20 words.
You cannot rephrase text from different sources - even from different splits of the same video.
The new text must be roughly the same length as the original
(we will show a warning if the difference is over 20%)Voice clones are generated from the video automatically and are only used for rephrasing.

Q: Can I cancel a rephrase or run multiple at once?
No. Currently, it’s not possible to cancel a rephrase in progress or to run more than one at the same time.
