We are refreshing our avatar library to improve quality, realism, and performance. As part of this update, a number of avatars will be retired in 2026. You can continue using these avatars for the remainder of this year, and your existing projects will continue to work as usual.
What is changing?
A set of legacy avatars will be removed in 2026. These avatars are being retired so we can focus on supporting newer, more capable characters.
Can I still use the older avatars?
Yes. All avatars included in this update will remain available until the end of this year. You can keep editing and exporting videos with them during this time.
What happens to existing projects with retired avatars?
If a project contains an avatar that is being retired, VEED will automatically update the project to a newer and closely matched avatar once the older version is removed.
